I am unable to link my wallet to Brave Rewards

Every time I try to link my account or wallet, when I finish the process I always get this message:

This happens on both my Android phone and my Mac computer. I don’t know if it’s a general problem or one that’s only affecting me :frowning:

Could you help me? I would appreciate any kind of information.

If you’re seeing this error, it likely means you’ve connected 4 devices/profiles to this Solana address. You must use a new Solana address if you’ve hit the limit. Thanks!

Thank you very much, that’s probably it. Currently my phone and both my computers are connected, it’s possible only 3 devices are allowed.

@FernandoInter Just a heads up: each connection is effectively permanent. If you uninstall and reinstall Brave, switch devices, or create a new browser profile, it will count as a new device and use another slot. This applies even if you reconnect from the same device.

So while I know you mention phone and both computers, might you have done multiple profiles or have used a different device in the past which could have used up the 4th slot?

hi Yes, on my same computer I have two profiles, one personal and one work. It’s likely that one of those profiles is occupying space. If I disconnect one of them, could I free up that space in case I need to connect on a new device?

No. The spaces are permanently used, at least for now. What you would need to do is create a new Solana account for that profile and any future profiles.
