I was thinking it was solana the brave rewards

I have coinbase i think my mum sending paypal tomorrow $5 aud

@buzzer11 I’m not sure which way you’re referencing, but you would have your Wallet set up and if you don’t have BAT on Solana, you’ll need some SOL to fund the Associated Token Account (ATA). This requires your Wallet to have at least $1 worth of SOL.

Once that’s done and you choose Solana via Rewards, it would have you approve the connection and would link.

So do this on other devices, you’ll need to make sure they all have the same Wallet account. If they don’t, you’ll want to restore or import/export the wallet accounts to each device/profile. Otherwise you’ll have to repeat the earlier process of funding each device’s Wallet separately, which I’m guessing you wouldn’t want to do.

Notes

  1. The steps @narendramahara was just a way they noticed to convert things already held in places like Binance or elsewhere. It is one of many ways you can use to fund your Solana account. You can also buy it directly in Brave Wallet but it can be a bit more costly depending on who you choose and their limitations in your country. Often it’s easier to send from a wallet where you might already have SOL or by converting existing cryptocurrency in a custodial account like Binance, Uphold, or whatever.

  2. Currently you can only connect up to 4 Rewards profiles to an individual Solana account. So if you ever go to link more than that, you’ll need to create a new Solana account for the additional profiles or devices.

can we switch computer if we have 4 rewards profile

just wondering if can switch devices when we reach 4 rewards profiles so do we just uninstall brave old computer or device and it will open up a slot just wondering how it works

@buzzer11 each profile is separate. But the connections are somewhat permanent. There is not a way to disconnect this on the back end. So if you link 4 profiles to a single Solana account, then if you ever change devices or try a 5th profile, you would need to create a new Solana account and fund it so it can create the BAT account.

Maybe they will eventually remove the self custody linking limits like they did for the custodial ones, but for now it is going to have this limitation. Each time you link, it uses up a permanent slot of the 4 slots you get.

If you reset your Rewards or change a device, it will stay connected but nothing will come out of it…if that makes sense.

how many ads do you earn per bat tokens

so when i get more than 4 slots i have fund it again with some solana

I’m going to answer a bit different than the way you asked. Some ads pay 0 BAT, those are House Ads. So if the ad is about Brave, such as Brave Technologist Podcast or Brave VPN, it is 0 BAT. With some recent changes, those won’t increase your ads viewed counter. But I felt it important to make sure you’re aware this exists.

All other ads all have different rates. There’s no solid magic number. It depends on what the advertiser paid. Overall it is about 0.005 BAT per ad.

Using this logic, it means you need more than 200 ads to get 1 BAT.

It would mean you would have to create another Solana account, yes. You could then send your SOL to the new Solana account and it would use the ATA. But yeah, that’s about how it goes for now.

can i paid to use the same wallet after 4 is link

so i can i have the same wallet but pay again for an the same acount

sorry i trying to figout what you mean you have canonly make 4 acount one 1 wallet you would have to make new wallet to recive payment on that wallet and you cant use the same wallet am i right

Yo, dude. You’re trying too hard on this. You planning on trying to abuse it and make a ton of wallets? If not, just link your stuff and get paid. Don’t make it complicated.

im sorry if i panic alot i have high funt autism i hope you dont let forget that i asked about

dont worry i just looked up on there url i looke it up it say i dont need to make new wallet i can use a old one but i have to pay

https://support.brave.app/hc/en-us/articles/360056508071-How-many-Brave-Rewards-profiles-can-be-connected-to-a-payout-account

i just looked that also so i might need to make new solana like you say and it right sorry i was confused

@buzzer11 I’m not even sure of your situation anymore. You have asked so many questions that I am concerned that you’re getting yourself completely confused and have gotten yourself lost.

Have you even connected any profiles yet for Rewards? You first started off just asking about how to link to Brave Wallet to begin with. Then you somehow ended up talking as if you’ve made many different accounts and hit limits.

If you had yet to fund the first account and link it, then there is no reason to need to worry about the wallet limits and what to do. Instead just focus on the immediate step in front of you.
