A thin white line appears at the top of fullscreen videos

After updating Brave to v1.88.127 (Chromium 146), a thin white line appears at the top of fullscreen videos.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open YouTube (or any video site)
  2. Play a video
  3. Enter fullscreen

Expected result:
No white border.

Actual result:
A thin white line appears at the top of the screen.

Notes:

  • The issue started exactly after updating to v1.88.127
  • Happens even with a new Brave profile
  • Clearing GPUCache and resetting flags did not fix it
  • Does NOT happen in Microsoft Edge on the same system

same thing here, so Brave, how resolve this?

The solution for now seems to be to enable the option “Show rounded corners on main content areas”, I was facing the same issue and that fixed it. Got the solution from here: A line appears at the top when entering video fullscreen mode
