Accidentally Subscribed to Brave VPN – Need Help with Refund

Hi Brave Support / Community,

I made a mistake and need some help.

I wanted to try the 7-day free trial of Brave VPN, but I didn’t read everything properly before clicking continue. I assumed it wouldn’t charge me right away and that I could cancel before the trial ended. But it immediately charged me for the yearly subscription through Google Play / PhonePe (autopay).
I realize it was my fault for not reading carefully. I’ve already canceled the subscription, and Google Play is showing that the payment is non-refundable. I also didn’t receive any invoice or confirmation email with a purchase ID, so I don’t even have that for reference.

I’m really hoping someone from Brave’s side can help. I can’t afford this subscription at the moment and would really appreciate any support or guidance on whether a refund is possible from Brave’s end.

Urgent Refund Request & Ongoing Cancellation Issue - Brave VPN (Ticket #322078)

Dear Brave Support Team,

I’m writing to request a refund for an accidental charge related to a Brave VPN subscription, and also to report an ongoing issue with canceling it.

I started a 7-day free trial for Brave VPN and then canceled it one day before the trial period ended. I even received an email confirmation saying the trial was successfully canceled.

However, despite that confirmation, my account was charged for the Brave VPN subscription.

I’m now trying to cancel the subscription again, but I’m encountering a problem. The page indicates that the subscription has been canceled, but when I reload it, it still shows me as subscribed and states I’ll be charged again next month. This is preventing me from fully resolving the issue.

I’ve already submitted a support request for refund, and my ticket number is 322078. I’d really appreciate your prompt help in processing a full refund for the charge and resolving this persistent cancellation problem.
