Description of the issue:
About 2 months ago I start using Brave Browser(from the official apt via) after suffering this same problem in the flatpak version, so after a month I was using the official apt, literally like 4 days ago my accounts log out not only like my account of a random website log out and I log in normally with google, literally every account log out, and today happend the same thing and my passwords from the password manager were deleted, I make sure that I dont enable some options like clear cookies of a website after I closed the tab or clear cookies or passwords after closing brave, that’s happend to me just in the morning when I open brave, I see other topic where happend the same, idk but my problem maybe be the same, but the strange thing is that mine never happend to me when im using my laptop in the day, just happen the first time I start my computer in the day, not every day
How can this issue be reproduced?

Close Brave and turn off the computer

Turn on the computer and open Brave
Expected result:
Brave start like everyday
Actual Result:
Brave log out all my accounts

Current OS: Linux Mint 22.1 (Ubuntu-based), Kernel Linux 6.18.1(customized with make localmodconfig)
Brave 1.85.118 (Compilación oficial) (64 bits)

Update Friday, January 9 of 2026:
So it still the same error, i change in the .desktop kwallet to libsecret in the command exec, i put —password-store=gnome-libsecret, and I think it works, but today, the same error log out all my accounts, after I write this post 2 days ago i setup a sync chain with my phone(I don’t know if it’s important but it happends just in my laptop, with and without a sync chain) and doesn’t brake the sync chain. I do this after reading a post with the same problem, i thought the problem was kwallet, i ask to chatgpt(I know is not a good resource) say me the same thing i thought, and said to chango to libsecret. After all, I have the same error.
So I think brave is beautiful, the best of chrome, without the worst of chrome, and a awesome ad blocker the main reason for use brave. But after all of this, I need to change to some other browser no chromium-base.
