I’m in Canada and I want to switch from Uphold to Brave Wallet. I have logged out of Uphold and made brave my default wallet but nothing has happened. How can I collect rewards like before with Uphold?

You can’t. Canadians are being left in the cold with no answers or solutions (they still are giving our BAT to Uphold which we cannot collect) like this is some small start up company and not a browser with tens of millions of users. Time to move on to any other browser of your choice.

Due to Uphold’s withdrawal from Canada, Brave Rewards now require switching to Solana-based self-custody. Logging out of Uphold isn’t enough—you must reset your Brave Rewards profile, set your country to Canada, and wait for an invite to join the new system. Rewards can’t be sent directly to Brave Wallet yet.

I reset my Brave rewards and lost 2 months of BAT rewards. I can’t believe the Brave Wallet doesn’t connect to the Brave browser like Uphold did. Terrible.

same here, only option is to connect to is uphold wich is block in canada, so, now that i resetted, i have to wait ?
Yep. Just check to connect every once in a while and eventually you’ll have Solana as an option and then you’ll be able to connect a Solana wallet.
