I don’t want to use Uphold anymore (previously connected and this would be the first month to receive BAT) so I now need to change to the brave wallet self custody and I have already disconnected Uphold from its site but.. There’s no option to change to Brave wallet in rewards, only to log in to uphold again… And I have already created a Brave Wallet but I cant connect it to reward. One possible solution would be after trying reconnect uphold and receive first time BATs, then try to reset and check if use brave wallet will be enabled option? PD: I have sync my laptop account with the phone one and I have not linked rewards wallets stills…
@emnez3 in order to have the option for Solana (Brave Wallet), you will need to reset your Rewards. This doesn’t purge anything in your Uphold account or cause harm because all of that is not in the browser but is elsewhere. Resetting just will put the Rewards profile in the browser to default, where you choose a country, get a new Rewards Payment ID, etc.
Sync doesn’t work for Wallet or Rewards. So that won’t count.
And if you are doing this on multiple devices, you’ll need to make sure you are using the same Wallet. If not, then it will have you create multiple different ones, which might not be effective.
To clarify what I mean, you can’t sync Wallet but you can Restore it onto multiple devices. When you create Wallet, it gives a restore phrase. When you have a new device or browser profile, you can use that to make the Wallet available there as well.
