Description of the issue:
brave (1.82.166) has been having fonts issues for months at this point on fedora 42 (native package), however, it does not happen in the flatpak package, however, the issue does not happen on debian 12/13 (native package), examples of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

use brave native package on fedora 42

open Reddit, YouTube, or many other sites

check fonts
Expected result:
the right fonts should appear instead of what appears to be a fallback font used in chromium

Additional Information:
this issue has been happening at this point for months, and i have not tried to reproduce it on other Linux distributions other than Debian 12/13 where the problem did not happen, and the issues does not happen in vanilla chromium if that helps, also i installed brave using the official script.
