Youtube videos keep unpausing themselves after pressing pause

Description of the issue: whenever i watch a YouTube video in full screen or minimized, if i try pausing it by any means other than closing full screen/ re-opening brave and pausing it using the normal pause button it will unpause itself no matter what i do.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open youtube and start watching a video
  2. Try and pause via any means besides the one you are presented with when first clicking on a video (the ios task manager, miniplayer controls ect)

Actual Result:

It pauses for half a second roughly and then unpauses.

Expected result: the video pauses

Reproduces how often: every time since a few days ago

Operating System and Brave Version: i am on the latest version, i assume its v1.87.192, and i am on an ipad updated to the latest software version

Which lists do you have enabled in brave://settings/shields/filters ?

If you meant the content filter i have Cookie notice, mobile app promo, & ai suggestion blockers enabled. Sorry if this is the wrong thing im not super familiar with the brave settings

Do you have the experimental list (scroll down the list) enabled?

Same problem, experimental not enabled, mine unpauses a second after the play/pause button disappears, not as quick as his.

Happening when requesting desktop site. Mobile version works fine (has less features tho) . Maybe something to do with how youtube handles full screen playback on desktop browsers? I also believe it started happening due to a youtube update.

I have the same issue too. Very very annoying. Looks like Brave is getting worse in its video playback functionality. And I do not have high hopes that this is resolved soon. The issue Brave keeps playing sound even while video is closed that I mentioned is also still not resolved.
