YouTube playback stopped after first song played

Description of the issue:

Background music stop after first track. Having the issue on iOS. I have the issue already fixed on Android platform.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open YouTube and play a song

  2. Turn Auto play

  3. Turn off screen and wait to finish current song

Expected result: should play the next song

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.87(192)

Thank you for reporting. I’m actually seeing a different but related issue on my iPad. For me when I lock the screen, the video will continue to play but the audio stops.

Reaching out to the iOS team about this now.

Thanks Mattches for acknowledging the issue. I have reported this issue on GitHub already but unfortunately didn’t get any response.

Additional info: if shield off no issues has been observed.

Can you enable shields, and enable the Experimental list in Brave settings?

Shields on ‘‘standard mode’’ and from the content filtering ‘‘Experimental ad blocker’’ also enable but issues persist same.
