Hello to whom it may concern.
Description of the issue: when using brave browser on Iphone ( currently IOS 26.3) and ( up to date Brave app) Youtube videos either fail to play forcing me to open up the app and allowing the song to play for 5 to 10 seconds ( before locking the phone and the music comes through ) or once a song finishes and is going on to the next song on the playlist ( the song doesn’t come on) forcing me to open up the app and either refreshing the page or closing the app and reopening it ( which makes me waste a lot of time as a result)
Expected result: from what I remember the songs would use to switch to the next song in the playlist while the phone was locked with no issues
Reproduces how often: some times every song/ sometimes a few songs would play in a row its a very unstable problem
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): Brave OS currently: 1.97 (192)
Additional Information: I have gone through all the suggestions such as have enable back ground audio on/ off/ clearing caches, tired only 1 web tab open etc, I feel like this is an issue with either youtube or brave and from what I have seen no fix has been made for this unstable issue as of yet its annoying because this is one of the reasons I downloaded brave to be able to play music form the browser.
Hopefully this issue can be rectified.
