This is as much to help the developers as anything; but I have observed that Brave works nicely on YouTube on my Windows laptop. Every now and then I get their “Experiencing lag?” (or whatever the phrase is exactly) before videos start; I had read that that was one of their ways of messing with people with ad blockers.
Anyway… I also have two Macs.. an older M1 MacBook Air and an M2 Macbook Air. Brave and YT also works flawlessly on the M1. But on the M2, I am frequently getting warnings about ad blockers aren’t allowed on YouTube. I can close the dialog and keep watching, but it DOES appear.
I watch 99.9% of videos on the windows laptop since it’s connected to a bigger screen; the Macs are only for occasional use so it’s not a big deal. I also have all of these Brave browsers connected via a sync chain so they all get the same plugins and settings.
Also… I can watch YT videos using Brave on my iPhone and it works fine there too, and it is NOT (yet) part of the sync chain. I’m forgetful and lazy sometimes.
