I use Brave all the time and I love everything about it except for the fact that when I switch onto my iPhone there’s no Liquid Glass effects. This makes the keyboard, video player, other buttons, and everything else look outdated to the point where it doesn’t feel like an app designed for Apple. Everything else is perfect, but if we could add that small touch I think it would improve the user experience.
This likely is too much effort for Brave to tackle; maintaining stability is enough for now, but thanks for the suggestion.
Totally, hopefully we can get to the point where it becomes doable someday. I know YouTube ad blocking has been a cat and mouse game, but so far on iOS I’ve just had to reload the page and the video would play without any more problems.
Liquid Glass on iOS/iPadOS will ship later this year
Thank you for clarifying! Good to see Brave work on this!
Yeah thanks Kyle, I’m super excited to see this when it comes out!
