Modernize the iOS UX: Better Gestures + Liquid Glass

I really appreciate Brave’s focus on privacy, but the iOS app’s user experience still feels rough compared to other browsers.

The interface feels somewhat rigid and unintuitive, and it lacks many of the gestures that make browsing feel fluid. For example, swiping up to view all tabs or swiping across the address bar to switch between tabs are interactions that work beautifully in Safari and Orion. Those small details make a huge difference in everyday use.

I would love to see Brave take inspiration from Safari and Orion’s UX. Adopting Apple’s new Liquid Glass design language where appropriate would also help the app feel much more modern and at home on iOS. A more polished, gesture-driven interface would make the browser much more enjoyable to use without compromising its excellent privacy features.

Brave is currently working on this feature. Please wait for the release!
