I would like to enquire about any plans for a Liquid Glass redesign on iOS - are there any plans to modify the interface to bring it up to date? Mostly around the navigation bar, location bar, menus etc.
For me the current appearance is now starting to look dated, and I long for a similar look as with Safari. Thanks!

It’s ugly as hell and its operating concept is equally bad. If you don’t like the alternative that Brave offers, maybe you should just stick to the original. Safari can be enhanced with filters such as AdBlockPlus for more privacy. I’m glad that with Brave I found a browser that works differently from Safari and is mostly consistent with the other platforms it runs on.
It was just a question, I don’t disagree that aspects of iOS 26 look bad or function worse, I only wanted to query on if an updated design is planned. If not, fine, and I’ll continue to use Brave (as I also do on my PC). Wasn’t meant as a diss.
I expect there will be changes sooner or later, but it will mostly follow whatever Google implements in Chrome. If it’s just about Liquid Glass to make it fit in better, I’m ok with that as well. I was mainly bothered by your statement that you want it to look similar to Safari, and I don’t want the developers to get the impression that this is what everyone wants because in my eyes Safari’s interface has been awful in the last two iOS versions.
