Problem with Brave window size and down-scaling on a second monitor [Fedora KDE Plasma on Wayland]

Description of the issue: Since the recent Brave update v1.82.170, Brave windows on my second monitor do not work as intended.

Primary monitor is 1444p and the second is 1080p (scaled to 75%). When the window is dragged to the second monitor it downscales and the resize functions cease to be responsive. The window is unusable as the buttons don’t match what is shown on screen (like the window is visibly downscaled but the actual funcional window is not).

Actual Result: Video

This has not happened before. I’ve been using Brave on this Fedora machine for almost a year. Everything but Brave works as intended.

System info:
Fedora 42 KDE Plasma 6.4.4 on Wayland
Brave v1.82.170 (installed via Fedora 41+ (dnf5))

Reproduces how often: always

I experienced the same issue, plus an additional problem with Brave prompting me with global shortcuts every time it launched. I resolved that by setting a specific exec= command.

Main screen with UWQHD resolution and a side screen in FHD portrait mode both work fine since there’s no scaling involved but the 3rd screen goes crazy. The Brave window is scaled down, clicking anywhere causes the window to shrink even more, hovering over UI elements highlights areas far to the left of the actual pointer position.

System info:
Linux 6.16.8-arch3-1
Brave v1.82.170 (installed via yay)
