Option to modify right click menu options for Links

I have been using the Brave Browser on Windows 11 for quite some time. However, within the past day or so a new right click menu option appeared and it is really messing with my muscle memory causing me to do bad things. The offending item is for “Open link in split view”.

This new addition moved everything down and now I’m constantly clicking on “Open link in a new Window” instead. This is really painful and causing me lots of issues.

  1. While browsing Amazon I sometimes want to read about a product ‘incognito’ instead of having it added to my list of items I looked at and then end up getting recommendations I don’t want.
  2. I also frequently use this when browsing YouTube videos so I can check things out without telling YouTube to start recommending similar videos.

*I’m sure this is a great ‘New’ feature for those that want it, but for those that don’t it would be great to have an option to remove it.

Please add an option to alter this right click menu so that I can put it back the way it was.

Thanks for all you do Brave Team!

Edit: Got this from another post in case it is helpful: How do I remove "Split View?" - #4 by LFOD

I found the solution to this vexation on a Reddit thread. Go to “brave://flags/” in the URL address and a page will pop-up titled “Experiments.” Enter “Split” in the search, and change the option “Split View” to “Disabled,” then restart Brave.
