The browsing history is not shown in the main History tab but is visible in the History option within the “Customize and control Brave” drop-down menu.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
Open Brave browser.
Click the History tab from the main menu/sidebar to check browsing history—no results are displayed.
Open the “Customize and control Brave” drop-down (hamburger menu) and select History; the browsing history appears here.

### Description
I number of users on the latest stable build are seeing their b… rowsing history cleared out seemingly randomly along with the NTP favicons. Further, it looks like the browser is no longer saving history for these users. No other data has been cleared out other than history.

Issue has occurred for users on Windows 10, 11, and Linux Mint I have asked to confirm whether or not these users have/had Sync enabled at the time this issue occurred. Users do not have any data set to be cleared "on exit".
