Dark mode not needs to be reset every time I launch Brave

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. every time I launch Brave the Dark mode is not showing (in a blank window Cmd N) I go to settings and it says Dark. I have to select another option like system then select Dark again and it will stay Dark until the next restart. Thank you

Expected result: Dark mode even with restart

Brave Version( check About Brave):1.84.135

Additional Information: Mac OS 15.7.1

The same thing started happening for me after I updated to 1.84.135. I set appearance to Dark Mode. When my computer wakes up after an overnight rest, it is in light mode even though it is still set to dark mode.
