Description of the issue:
Whenever I’m using Brave on windows, I have one window with a video playing while browsing in another. There might be more than one video - such as a twitch stream - in the “video window” among two different tabs. After some time, all windows will freeze and the media crashes.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Do the aforementioned setup
- Browse normally for a while in the second window
Expected result:
The entire browser will freeze for 10 seconds or more then become responsive again, with all media that was running crashing (twitch) or restarting (youtube)

Additional Information:
The process may be expedited by having multiple streams visible, but I’m not sure. This happens every day now, and I don’t think it’s the system it’s running on as I have 12GB of VRAM and a 12900K for the CPU.
