Brave Browser on Android Won't Connect to Brave Wallet

Description of the issue:

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra - brave wallet already made - trying to link to Brave rewards but the page just “hangs” on Select a Solana Wallet to connect if the Brave Wallet is unlocked. If the Brave Wallet is locked, the “connect” button works and takes me to Select the Solana address you’d like to use.

  2. Cache has been cleared. Force close has been done. Only thing not done is uninstall/reinstall because I don’t want to lose my history/sync settings. I am running latest Android version of Brave browser 1.94.121, not rooted.

    side question - will there ever be “other” wallet implementation or are we forcing users to only create and fund Brave wallets indefinitely??

Do you have any special access permissions enabled in your Android settings? This is likely the reason. Thanks!
