When setting up rewards and asked “Ready to start earning?”, I click “Connect Account.” Then I see the screen where I select Uphold or a self-custody Brave Wallet. I select Brave Wallet. On the next page I see “Select a Solana Wallet to Connect” and I click “Connect” for my Brave Wallet. Nothing happens. I have tried this about 100 times. About 3 of those 100 times I get a spinning circle, but after waiting for 10 minutes still nothing happens. I have already set up my Brave Wallet and I already have SOL in my Solana Account. I tried resetting my Brave Rewards Profile, but it’s the same problem. Nothing happens when I click connect.

Thanks for your help! And I appreciate so much the quick reply. I believe my case is different than the one you linked because I am not seeing a “something went wrong” message. I also have never successfully connected any wallet to Brave Rewards. I tried on this same device months ago, but was having the same issue where nothing would happen when I pressed connect. I did some reading on this forum and discovered that maybe I needed some SOL in my account. I tried again today after getting SOL in my Brave Wallet and the same thing is happening. Either no change whatsoever, or, rarely, a spinning wheel below “Select the Solana address you’d like to use.” I’d be happy to learn that the problem is me and I’m doing something wrong. Thanks in advance for any help with this!
And test from Brave Browser on a desktop computer?
Your issue sounds like a glitch in the authorization steps; but @Evan123 or another Brave Support member @Mattches will know the “How to ____s.” (One of them may respond to those “tags” some call the act of addressing a member of this forum.)
Thanks so much for trying to help. I had tried resetting my rewards profile multiple times previously to starting this thread, to no avail. I tried a few more times for good measure. Whenever I reset it, I get the spinning wheel instead of no change. But the spinning wheel stays for 15+ minutes. I tried on a different internet connection, as 289wk suggested, but to no avail. I tried on a Windows desktop (Brave version 1.90.125), and there I got the “Something went wrong” message right away (no “Select the Solana address you’d like to use” message).
Still not sure what to try next. I appreciate your help as I know you are busy. The support page you linked mentioned looking out the rewards internals. The key info seed says valid. I can share my Rewards payment ID if that’s helpful.
I forgot to mention that I have tried this process both while logged into my brave wallet in another tab, and while not logged into my Brave wallet. Not sure if that is pertinent.
I upgraded my Brave version to 1.90.128. I tried connecting again and got the spinning wheel for multiple minutes. I tried resetting my Rewards profile and trying again and got the same spinning wheel for multiple minutes. Is there something else I should try?
