Ask
Add a single shortcut to create a Split View from the current tab.
Suggested shortcut
-
macOS: ⌘ ⌃ ⇧ T (Command–Control–Shift–T)
-
Windows/Linux (suggested equivalent): Ctrl+Alt+Shift+T
Behavior
Pressing the shortcut takes the active tab and opens a new split view: current page on one side, a new blank tab (or last-viewed tab) on the other.
Why this helps
This makes side-by-side work (research, compare, copy/reference) instant without digging through menus, speeding workflows and improving accessibility for keyboard users.
