Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. Description of the issue: YouTube comments and video description not visible. I’ve tried this on both the standard and aggressive ad block setting.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Screen shot is what the YouTube page looks like when I click on a video

  2. Go on YouTube

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.84

Mobile Device details

iPhone 15 pro; 18.6.2 iOS

Additional Information: works on other browsers on mobile including safari, chrome, and opera. Issue seems to be limited to brave browser on mobile.

Possibly: Take a look at the Brave Browser Settings > Brave Shields & Privacy > Content Filtering

Disable both:

  • YouTube Mobile Distractions
  • YouTube Mobile Recommendations
