mine are logged out all of google websites yes all of them that i used (gtranslate, gemini, gmail, drive, photos and maps) but youtube wasn’t logged out. i think either google or brave was messed up with google services or could be youtube anti-adblock script was messed up with google services in brave? uhh that’s not possible but just maybe.

alright so a bit more info, even disabling shields on accounts.google.com doesn’t work, all my sites are “unshielded” and I need to keep logging into my accounts.
Youtube is the only exception, so drive, calendar, mail, etc are logged out and my youtube stays logged on, very odd behaviour.
Hopefully this can be resolved quickly, fe in firefox and chrome I stay logged on (since the start of this problem i still have those same sessions from that first day) so it’s definetly something within brave

I agree with you as I turned shields off of Gmail yesterday morning and I’ve been logged out of Gmail twice now.

indeed, and it’s not only gmail, i was also logged out from other services.
like myproximus. so it’s a general thing I think

I just wanted to add that since I posted this concern I logged into Gmail using Microsoft’s Edge browser and despite being logged out of Gmail NUMEROUS times while using Brave, I’m still logged into Gmail in Edge so it seems to me that it’s somewhere in Brave’s coding as both Brave and Edge are Chromium-based.

I’ve been having the exact same problem for a few days…
It only affects Google; I’m still logged in on other sites.
Same issue for me. Logs me out after a few hours on my PC. Doesn’t happen on my Mac though.

this will not happend if you use older version of brave browser.i managed to download and install vesrion that is 2 months old.and im not getting logged out of gmail.

is there a place where you can download an older copy and if you found one how do you prevent it from being automatically updated?

Can you be more specific as to where on GetHub to download, what version doesn’t have the problem and how you configured Brave to not update itself. I’m not familiar with GetHub and how to install from there?
same issue for me all google accounts present in youtube as i installed youtube as a app from brave ..but all accounts are getting signed out

I don’t know if this is the exact same issue but this is what is happening to me: some Google sites keep logging me off after a while and force me to log back in. Bear in mind that this happens even while I’m using the browser; I don’t have to close it. I could be writing an email or filling up a spreadsheet in Sheets and suddenly I get logged off in my face.
I’ve noticed this problem in:

Gmail.

Google Calendar.

Google Drive & Google Docks.

Google Keep
But it does not happen in Youtube or any non-google sites (Reddit, WhatsApp, this forum, etc).
Things I’ve tried that didn’t work:

Enabling ALL cookies on those google sites.

Disabling Shields on those sites.
-
Disabling ALL my extensions.

Creating a new profile.
-
Resetting Brave.
-
Reinstalling Brave.
I’ve been using Brave for nearly a year or more and I never had this issue before.
I do not have this issue in Chrome, Comet and Firefox. And, surprisingly, I’m on the same version in my Windows laptop with the same config and it’s working fine.
