For the past few weeks, Brave now has two icons. One has no history, blank profile, the other opens correctly, when I select a profile, it another icon shows on my sidebar. This is effecting all computers running Linux. Obviously, it was deliberate as they never fixed it. I don’t understand the reason for it.
Could be that you have started a separate instance of Brave from the CLI. There is a tool called SPB which when run will start multiple instances of Brave. This will also cause you to have multiple icons for Brave. Each one being a separate instance. Just a guess. Maybe restart the machine and see if the issue persisits?
