The Brave Team will never ask you for your recovery phrase or private key.
Description of the issue: So I’ve 2 brave browsers: one on my phone and one on my laptop, both have custody wallet on them. But the phone from my phone is connected to my Brave wallet, but my laptop’s isn’t, and it’s connected to another Solana like this
Hello! It sounds like you’ve setup two different Brave Wallets with separate recovery phrases. If you want the addresses to be the same for both devices, you’ll need to reset one of the wallets and import the related recovery phrase from the other device so that they are the same.
Both of the wallets has the same phrase, and has the same amount of cash in them,
It’s just the rewards on my laptop isn’t linked to the wallet but rather linked to another address which I can’t log into or use the BAT which are in it
I’m not sure I am understanding the issue. If you’re seeing the Solana-connected address in your Brave Rewards on the laptop, the wallet and Rewards are linked.
If you don’t have access to that address, the Rewards are already lost.
The Rewards account is connected to the address you connected it to in your Brave Wallet. You can’t connect a Rewards account to the wallet, unless you Sign a transaction, meaning you would have to have access at some point to connect.
If you visit Brave Wallet, you should see that address. If you don’t, then perhaps you changed Brave Wallets or used another wallet provider?
Resetting the Rewards account will allow you to connect any address you desire.
