Hey team.

Great job on the split view, I’ve waited for that one for a long time.

I figure that a sensible and logical extension to that would be the ability to switch between the horizontal split view (as it is now) and a vertical split view. That gives us the same flexibility and enhanced productivity, but in some scenarios it’s more beneficial to use a vertical split and use the width of the monitor. So if we had that, not only would it hellp users out (myself could use that really much rn, but have to resort to the same old “duplicate window” workflow), but it would also make Brave stand out among other browsers even more. I’m not aware of such a feature, but it’s a really handy way to display things, which is also thankfully present in other kinds of apps, like VSC or Dopus.

+1 on this - it would be great for working with spreadsheets that are wider.

The feature that’s already in the browser is to split view on the x-axis; I believe OP is asking to split over the y-axis.

As @ekomac pointed out, I was referring to splits over the y-axis.
