Use too much RAM (1GB for a single tab)

Why brave browser is using almost 1GB when only one tab is open(Playing video at 360p).

Now it’s using more than 1.2GB of RAM :roll_eyes:

Hi

@ritikkumar352 Try this

  1. Check if GPU driver is up to date
  2. Disable hardware acceleration; will start for 3D graphics;
  3. Disable Continue running background apps when Brave is closed @ brave://settings/system
  4. Clear browser cache
  5. Restart browser.
