Description of the issue:After update to Brave 1.88.138 (Official Build) (64-bit) Brave had lost all settings, all site settings, all passwords and sync had stopped.

**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1.Update from prior version of brave to **Brave 1.88.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

**Expected result:**1- Would be for the upgrade not to wipe out any settings and passwords.

Reproduces how often: Unknown I repaired it with SYNC from my phone and do not wish to go through that again.

SAME issue today, writing this from old phone that has Brave 189.137 and was synced in.

This old phone with updated Brave has all updated bookmarks and passwords, tabs etc

Brave losing all when updating is unprofessional and shitty service

I am not just annoyed at this but REALLY PISSED OFF Brave. SHOULD BE A QUICK AND EASY UPDATE, not all this fucking around.

AND other phone is taking AGES to install it… like FUCKING AGES

DAMN well managed to delete the old Brave IN A FUCKING HURRY

SO BRAVE… if i turn new version on (other phone, one with ZERO personal stuff retained), will this one force all data on other, or is my original one (this devicee) GOING TO GET WIPED??

Pissed Off.
