Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. update to Brave 1.87.190 (Official Build) (64-bit)

hi i just updated brave to the latest version and boom my passwords are gone the search engine is set to brave and can’t be changed and when i check my sync settings my sync chain is also gone so i had to sync with my phone again to get my passwords back and i’ve also gotten logged out of every single website i was logged in before and thats exhausting at the least
