Please edit your Original Post (“OP”) above, in order to include:
- Brave Browser version numbers
- Operating System version
When you visit the Twitch website, click on the “tune” icon at the left end of the URL address field.
Scroll down to and select: Site settings ← that will take you to: brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.twitch.tv
By the way, you can also go directly - in a Brave Browser New Window, go to: brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.twitch.tv
You may find a Delete data button … if so, then click on it. Also, click on the Reset permissions button.
Note that the long, leading portion of the Brave settings link:
brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2F
… is a fixture, followed by either a domain name or hostname. For example, you can also in a Brave Browser New Window, go to:
brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitch.tv
The point being: You may find some other sub-domains / hostnames of, or related with, Twitch TV, where the clearing of data and resetting of permissions might help.
assets.twitch.tv
chat.twitch.tv
gql.twitch.tv
hermes.twitch.tv
map.fastly.net
playlist.ttvnw.net
stats.live-video.net
ttvnw.net
usher.ttvnw.net
www.twitch.tv
When clearing data at brave://settings/clearBrowserData you might need to set the ‘Time range’ to ‘All time’
Also check here: brave://settings/content/all ← search for “Twitch” and the related domain names, hostnames.
