While trying to log in twitch via brave browser, notications of unsupported browser popped up. This happened in September 29, 2026.
Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?
Turn off and then turn on my laptop
Turn off brave shield and each extensions in brave browser
Expected result: I hope I can use brave browser to log in twitch as it does before.
Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.96.59 (64 bits)

By the way, this issue is not noted on other browser like duckduckgo.
Happening to me too starting today. Twitch probably pushed some weird update that broke Brave’s user agent detection or something. What fixed it for me temporarily was clearing cookies and site data for twitch tv specifically, or toggling the “Shields” down and up. Hopefully Brave pushes a quick patch for it soon because it’s super annoying.
I just updated to 1.96.61, and I can normally log in twitch pages as usual currently. Thanks, Brave devs.
