Additional Information:
not sure if i got you @dcolburn
is the issue the the restore option show up everytime you open brave?
do you want to open the last tab you was using before close brave?
or what ?
could you write the steps you do that make that issue show up
and have a nice day
The pop-up asking if I want to Restore Tabs shows up every time I reboot.
I’d like to be able to set it to restore the tabs on reboot - by default.
if i got you right
then go to brave://settings/getStarted then set On startup to Continue where you left off
hope that help and have a nice day
It was already checked when I went there. I’ll see if just going that page caused it to be checked - the next time I reboot - then post the results here. Thanks
you welcome and take your time
It appears that just visiting that Settings page automatically ticked that box. I’ll see how it does in the morning after powering-down overnight. Hopefully I can mark this Solved then. Thanks
No joy.
Powered off with a dozen open tabs - they were not automatically opened, even though “Continue where you left off” was ticked - I had to manually check Restore tabs.
Hello @dcolburn
the restore show up when your browser did not closed in normal way like when power off your computer or it crash for any reason
Continue where you left off mean if you close brave normally like you close it with some open tabs then when you reopen it again it open the last opened tabs again
hope that explain it in better way and have a nice day
