Description of the issue:

Tab Groups automatically expand when browser is launched

How can this issue be reproduced?

This issue can be reproduced everytime the browser is closed and relaunched again

I wouldn’t usually have a problem with tab groups expanding automatically on launch but in this case it is causing some weird UI glitches. For example, a random cross button appearing on top of minimize/maximize button.

Expected result:

Everytime the browser is launched, the tab groups should stay unexpanded as it used to be.

No, it only happens when there are too many tabs open after groups are expanded (as in the tabs go beyond the title bar)

I actually found a temporary solution for this problem.
You can enable Tab scrolling from brave://flags which fixes the visual UI glitches.

Note: This will only fix UI glitching, the tab groups will still be automatically expanded on launch.
