Suggestion for a built-in adult content filter

Dear Brave Team,

I’m a regular user of your browser and am very satisfied with its performance. I highly appreciate your focus on user privacy and security, as well as the effective ad-blocking and tracking protection features.

I would like to suggest adding a new feature. A built-in content filter, specifically for blocking adult (18+) and pornographic material, would be a great addition to the browser’s settings. This feature would be extremely helpful for households with children, ensuring a safer and cleaner Browse experience for all users.

While I currently use

adult-filter-dns.cleanBrowse.org as a private DNS for this purpose, a native feature within Brave would be more convenient and user-friendly.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

A Brave User

I like your suggestion of you installing a separate filter if you wish it. Adults having adult conversation are self censoring. Children are protected by their adult care givers as part of the care of children.

Your preferences are yours and talk about only you. Please don’t impose your likes and dislikes on others, it is intrusive and unwelcome.

Thank you.
