Split view is not saved when closing and reopening the browser

Description of the issue:

The split view is not saved when closing and reopening the browser
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Create a split view tab

  2. Pin the split view tab

  3. Pin another single tab

  4. Close the browser

  5. Reopen the browser

Expected result: The split view window has been unsplit

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.92.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Chromium: 150.0.7871.63

Additional Information: The split view tab remains in a split view if you have only the split view tab pinned. Adding additional single pinned tabs causes the split view to unsplit when the browser is closed and reopened.

What OS are you using? I ask because I don’t see this issue except for in specific cases on macOS.

Windows 11
In Windows, if I create a split-view w/two tabs, pin the view, then pin another tab, if I close the browser than open it again, the split-view tabs are still in the view. No issues.

macOS
When I do this same setup on macOS, if I click the red x to close the browser window, then reopen the browser, it launches a new browser window, which does not contain the tabs. If I then restore the previous window, the split-view tabs appear to have been un-split, as you describe.

But if instead of clicking the red x I right-click on the dock icon and Quit the app (or Cmd + Q), then relaunch the browser, the split-view tabs remain split and pinned as expected.

I am using Windows 11 25H2 26220.8764

Brave version 1.92.139 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 150.0.7871.114

The split tab issue remains if I pin both a split view and a single tab
