Selecting multiple tabs (with ctrl / shift click) does not work on Linux with GTK theme

Description of the issue:

Shift or ctrl clicking tabs to select multplie does not work.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Use GTK theme

  2. Hold SHIFT or CTRL and click to select multiple tabs

  3. Try dragging the tabs that should have been selected

Expected result:

Tabs are selected

Brave Version( check About Brave):

1.82.166 Chromium: 140.0.7339.133 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Only an issue on Linux with the GTK theme. Works with the Classic theme and on other OS’s. Previously reported:

Unfortunately, this is reproducible in upstream Chrome. Needs to be fixed there :frowning:
