Description of the Issue: Using Ctrl + Left Click or Shift + Left Click does not select multiple tabs when using the vertical tab mode.
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch Brave.
Right-click a tab and select “Use vertical tabs.”
Attempt to Ctrl + Left Click or Shift Click on tabs.
Actual Result: Clicked tab is opened.
Expected Result: Multiple tabs should be selected when using Ctrl + Left Click or Shift Click in vertical tab mode.
Reproduces How Often: Always
Brave Version: Brave Release - Version 1.58.127
Reproducible on Current Live Release: Yes

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Hello,
let me first thank you for the possibility of having real vertical tab. Game changer for me.
Having that said, same issue in 1.58.131
.
I just want to add that the tabs are actually selected (CMD+W closes all of them if you clicked like you selected them with shift click). It just does not show it.

That is interesting. Still, it doesn’t behave as expected when dragging those “selected” multiple tabs out of the window. Bug report: Tab window cannot be dragged back into window in vertical tabs mode
