I did try that, but the issue still persists for me. Thought maybe it could be a browser extension I was using, but disabled all those and it still persists as well.
Also I tried disabling Shield on the webpage too but no luck.
@svjul can you try launching a Guest profile window (Menu > More tools > Guest profile), closing your original profile window (so only the guest window is open) and then visit reddit and see if these options appear?
Just tested through Guest profile and I was able to see the additional Reddit options
Yeah so the issue is tied to your original profile. To confirm, you’ve tried disabling all of your extensions, closing/relaunching the browser and the issue persists?
Other things to check would be to confirm that you fully cleared all your reddit data by visiting reddit.com and clicking the “tune” icon to the left of the URL in the address bar. Then Site settings > Delete data. Refresh the page and test again.
Additionally, you might want to check brave://settings/shields/filters and confirm that you don’t have any custom filters set to block these elements from the page.
Okay, so I got them back on my original profile. What I had to do was go into that “tune” option and went to “Cookies and site data” and then “Manage on-device site data” and cleared all the options in there. Refreshed and now I can see all the comment functionality back. Hopefully it stays. Thank you for your help on this!
