Randomly losing all previously opened tabs upon reopening Brave

Description of the issue:
Lost all open tabs many times now, across many versions, always in the brave beta (didn‘t test stable release).
Couldn’t figure out what’s causing the issue, i just open brave and all tabs are gone (but remain in browser history).

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. close Brave
  2. open Brave

Expected result:
(Have all tabs from last browser session)

Brave Version:
Version 1.79 (102)
iOS Testflight Beta

Mobile Device details
iPad (9th Gen)
iPadOS 18.4 (22E240)

Additional Information:
I think this is a really annoying bug, especially for those who have many tabs, this should get more attention (have seen many similar reports but neither a single solution nor a person that really seemed to care :disappointed_face: )

@CRYST4L thanks for reporting. So far am unable to reproduce. Just to confirm, this is only happening in Beta?

I always use beta, should I test the stable release too?

Yep, just happened to me too, and I am not in Beta. I am on a Mac though (to clarify)

Happened again. Is fkin annoying. Why doesnt this ENORMOUS bug get attention.

I have this happen to me several times a month. iPad Pro latest version of the OS latest version of brave. It’s been happening for well over a year. If you can’t stop it from happening at least put something together that will allow me to manually restore all previously open tabs from the last session or whatever.

Tested for some time in the stable version (not the beta) and it seems to happen more often.
