Description of the issue: When using Brave on mobile, tapping into dynamic text fields causes the mobile keyboard to flash open for a split second and instantly disappear, requiring a second tap to stay open. This keyboard issue is consistent and happens every time on Google Gemini, while on YouTube it happens intermittently. Additionally, a severe UI freeze occurs on YouTube when interacting with multiple overlays. If any overlay panel is open (such as the comments panel or a playlist drawer panel) and I open the YouTube search bar, closing that search bar completely breaks the underlying page layout. The open comments or playlist panel freezes entirely, it becomes impossible to scroll through the items, and tapping the “X” icon to close the panel does absolutely nothing, and while this issue is currently happening when you open the video settings you can’t get out of that either. The entire webpage UI locks up except for the video player itself, forcing a hard refresh to recover.
Exact URL of the website in question: gemini.google.com and youtube.com
Did the issue present with default Shields settings? Yes, the issue still presented with the default Shields settings
Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? No, the site still does not function as expected when Shields are turned off
Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no): No, most of the time I stick with the default settings and no other configuration of the settings has fixed or broken the site
Does the site work as expected when using Chrome? For gemini.google.com the keyboard issue didn’t persist ever and works as expected as far as I’ve tested, but for youtube.com the overlay panel UI freeze issue still happens over there
Brave version (check About Brave): Brave 1.93.138, Chromium 151.0.7922.173
Also I do have screenrecordings of both issues but since I’m a new user it’s not letting me attach them to the post
