Problem of keyboard flash in page typing

When typing to conversation of Gemini on Google, the keyboard is enable for pop out.

  • For example your search sth and you click More under Google’s Ai generated summary and want to keep asking question in this cache gemini page but since the address bar of Brave is on bottom. So whenever i click type to tupe something it flash then stopped. Worked if i change the address bar to be on top. Super annoying.

  • Brave Browser version numbers, 1.88(137)
  • Operating System version numbers, IOS 26.4.1
  • Computing Device model, Iphone 17

I actually just update the system to ios 26.4.2 today and looks like the bug was fixed now.

Reviewing your issue:

  • You are using Brave Browser on a phone.
  • You are interacting with Google Gemini inside Google search (the AI-generated summary page).
  • When you tap the text box to type, the keyboard briefly appears (“flash”) and then disappears.
  • This only happens when Brave’s address bar is set to the bottom of the screen.
  • If you move the address bar to the top, typing works normally.

Possibly: A bug with Brave’s bottom address bar causing the input field in Gemini to lose focus when the keyboard opens.
