Mismatched pinned tab with close command

In short:

when I execute a close command on a pinned tab pointed with right mouse button, the browser doesn’t close the pinned tab but the last open tab.

This has never happened in Firefox.

Is this a deliberate choice or could it be corrected?

This bug was reported recently, and has been fixed. What version of Brave are you using? It works in 1.84.141 Chromium: 142.0.7444.176 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Linux.

Today I’ve update to
Brave 1.84.141 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Chromium: 142.0.7444.176

and the bug is over.
