Links in articles cannot be opened with mouse button

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. only way to open links in articles is to “open link in new tab”

  2. highlighting links in articles and pressing right mouse button does nothing

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):Brave 1.89.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: gloved hand appears but to no avail. tried all mouse buttons

Care to share a bit more? I cannot reproduce this, so we need to know the following:

  1. Website that has the issue.
  2. OS of your computer, is it Linux, Mac OS, or Windows?

Unless you swapped your mouse buttons within your OS, generally you just LEFT-click links, you don’t highlight and right-click, that makes no sense, the web has never worked that way.
