I deleted Google from search engines list and I can’t find a way to add it back. I was able to add it in the site search settings, but not able to add it to list of search engines.
Which “search engine list” are you referring to?
@Prasen Site Search and Search Engines are the same thing. The difference between the two is that the ones under Search Engines are the defaults that came with the browser. Many of them contain referral codes or identifiers to at least let the search engine know it was a default option and/or you’re using Brave.
The things listed under Site Search are the search engines we add for ourselves. They weren’t added their automatically by Brave.
You’ll notice everything listed under Site Search can be set to be the Default, which would then be your default search engine going forward.
I’ve removed the default search engines before and found two ways to get them back:
1. Re-Download or at least just Update Brave (Easiest option and convenient)
2. Reset Brave brave://settings/reset (Easy but VERY Inconvenient).
3. But yeah, as Saoiray said, you can just add it back yourself via Site Search otherwise
Personal Comment:
I’d encourage you to stop using Google, you use Brave indicating you’re interested in Privacy, when it comes to Google there is no Privacy. Try Brave Search or DuckDuckGo or StartPage or Qwant, etc.

I already added Google in site search and set it to default. However, everytime I open a new tab and search anything, it does a brave search only.
How do I make it that when I search something, it does a google search?

I’m not Stephen (and it looks like you sent me a inbox message which I’m not sure how you did that) but have you tried going one menu back to:
brave://settings/search
and then Under either (or both):
Normal Window and/or Private Window
Search engine used in the address bar (and/or for private windows) – & Clicking CHANGE (to the right / below heading) and choosing your preferred Search Engine & Set as Default?
