I noticed today that there are fewer icons on the home page.
Until now, all 12 of my favorites were visible at once, but now only 6 appear at a time and I have to swipe to see the rest. Is there any way to change this back? It’s a bit annoying to have to swipe.
@blackdog7 there’s actually more. You have the option. Hit the three dots on it and expand it, assuming you have a bunch saved. Such as:
Is there no way to change the sites back to its previous version? I liked it when they were all tucked to the left, so this change is a bit annoying for me.
@norioes at least for now, just disable it at brave://flags. But keep in mind most of the things in flags are experimental or just temporary. Most likely this flag will be removed at some point in the future. No idea how long until they remove it, but just keep in mind most things there are only there for a little while after changes are made just in case there’s any issues people experience.
So you can go disable, but at some point you may have to “deal with it” so to speak.

Before this setting, my 12 favorites either appeared in two swipes of 6 icons each, or - as you mentioned - in the expanded view, where all 12 icons were shown in a single row.
To the right of the six icons is a three dots menu. One of the options is “Show More Items”. This will show all your favourite site icons in two strips of 12 (to a mx of 24 icons). In fairness, if you use the Brave backgrounds option, the three dots can be really hard to see.
Yes, this can be done by pressing the third points and expanding as you will.
