Description of the issue: Opening the browser, my favorites are correctly listed. Clicking on them (left button o center button) does nothing 9 times out of 10. It was about 3 times out of 5 but since yesterday i changed my monitor it worsened awfully, now it almost never works. NOTE: once i open any website, through favorites or writing the name, everything else works fine, scrolling, link, central click to open on new sheet. No problem. Only on the favorites on startup, it’s pretty annoying
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
Open the browser
Click on favorite
Fail
Try again until it works, when works it opens on new sheet, as many click as possible, 3-5-7 sheets. you move to another icon, back to square one,
Expected result: Link should open in current sheet (left click) or new sheet (middle click)
Reproduces how often: on my old monitor (utrawide lg 3440x1440) about 60% of time. New monitor, still LG, same resolution but much bigger, >90% fails

To clarify, you’re referring to the top site tiles on the NTP correct? And you’re saying that clicking on these tiles does not launch the site as expected?
Exactly those in your picture (sorry for not being more specific; no problem at all with ‘normal’ favorites in the toolbar).
It started happening a few months ago.
Since yesterday it became almost unusable.
Do you have any extensions installed at this time? I’m wondering if one of them may be causing the issue.
If you have any installed, try disabling them and test to see if this resolves the issue. If not (or if disabling them doesn’t make any difference) can you try creating an additional browser profile (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile), then close your original profile window (so only the new profile is open), then add a top site tile and see if you’re able to click on it to open the site?
removing the extentions did nothing (just a couple).
creating a new profile indeed solved the issue; on the new profile. on the default one, where i have link saved passwords and so on, still the issue remains.
I tried adding a new favorite but it still has the same problem.
Additionally, you might want to try clearing your browser’s cache (in your main profile) to see if this has any effect. Settings --> History --> Delete browsing data --> Advanced and start with just clearing Cached images and files. Test again. If it’s still not working you might try clearing Cookies and site data but note that this will likely log you out of your accounts.
I’ve also asked a couple team members to weigh in. Not sure what specific profile data would cause this specific behavior, but since it’s working in the fresh profile we can be fairly certain that whatever is causing it is contained there.

I checked all browsing data on advanced except password (but i checked cookies) and deleted them from the beginning of time.
Still have the same issue.
I also tried deleting all favorites on homepage, deleting all browsing data, the creating again; still the same issue.
The issue is present both for frequently visited and for manually set favorites.
I agree that the problem is on my profile and not on my pc, since on a newly created profile on same browser/pc the issue doesn’t popup; and as a ‘fellow’ developer i understand that solving a bug that you can’t reproduce is a needle in a hay, but… JFYI, the issue is still there.
Not experience breaking, just annoying.
