Can you tell me what specific Android device you’re seeing this on? I just tested this on my Samsung Galaxy and everything is working as expected in Brave stable, Beta, and Nightly builds.

@JustMe actually I think this is a UI bug. Looking again on my end, the Delete data button seems to appear “behind” the Android system nav controls – namely over the “back” button.

I’m wondering if what’s happening is you are tapping there and actually hitting “back” rather than tapping the Delete data button. I was able to perform the data deletion by tapping the top-left corner of it, ensuring I don’t tap “back” – can you try this as well?

Looks like you marked it as a solution so I’m assuming that was in fact the case? If so we do have an open issue for this here:

Yes, your advice to tap upper corner worked well. The delete button is behind the <.

Long time Brave user and just signed up because I’m getting the same problem with a Poco X4 pro 5g.

I’ve tried hitting the delete button all around the ‘back’ arrow, no luck.

However, turning it to ‘landscape’ moves the ‘delete’ away from the navigation arrow and allows me to delete history.

So definitely a problem, with a temporary work around.
