Custom Filters Not Working

Description of the issue:
Custom Filter not working.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Add custom filter ||sleetwelk.casa^
  2. Go to website https://sleetwelk.casa/ipHniqEliiBvj/3276?param_2=32460
  3. Site loads and redirects to further ad.

Expected result:
Site should be blocked by custom filter.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Current release (Version 1.34.81 Chromium: 97.0.4692.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)

While you shouldn’t have to, have you tried restarting the browser after adding the filter?

I have tried that and it did not help. This is happening both with normal browsing windows and with private/incognito windows.

It would only work in a third-party context, when loading a website which then loads ||sleetwelk.casa^

In that case, try this:

  1. With aforementioned custom filter in place, open https://kissanime.com.ru/Anime/One-Piece.94379/Episode-001?id=13843
  2. Once page finishes loading, click anywhere within page; new tab is spawned with sleetwelk.casa address, which then redirects on to load ad

Try adding ||expelpoucey.com^ into brave://adblock

I’ll update the lists soon, so It’ll be in the next update. though sites like this will change adservers often

I get it, but Brave has successfully stopped this behavior on this site for some while now and this just started happening today, so hopefully said update will last another some while. Thanks again.
